| Post subject: | Can I get the files by FTP? |
I just wanted to know if I could get the game files by ftp due to the large file size and my limited download capability. I'd like to be able to use resume on ftp so I don't have to download the entire file at once. It would take more than 24 hours for me to do so, and I am on dial up access. It is also on my main telephone. |

Use some kind of download manager for resume support. Like GetRight, FlashGet, Download Accelerator Plus or such. |

I considered that, but wanted to chexk if they were available on ftp somewhere first. Thanks for the reply. |

You can get them - check the main page www.dxgaming.com/obsidian and under the "Getting Started" tab there is a link to download - this WILL resume! Enjoy and cya in game |

The file is also on many torrent sites. All torrent files will resume. |

Not if you have a decent client and stuff. Bittorent mainly depends on how many other people there are downloading the file, and how many people are seeding the file, but you can stop and resume as many time as you want. |

Thanks for all the replies. I appreciate everyone's willingness to help. It's a great thing to see when you're a noob. I've started downloading, and I only have 25 hours left. lol. Oh how I miss broadband. |

I haven't played UO in years. Not since I was running my own shard. (Which met with a horrible hard rive crash) I'm already impressed by the community, so I imagine I will have fun. Thanks again everyone. |
