Comparing online gaming and the street is different to me. Racial slurs should not be tolerated online because it takes the fun out the game but on the street it's however you see the situation  but anyway thats what my post meant. Freedom of Speech I LUV IT.

Cherry you live in the Bronx man. In the streets where you live and in the rest of the world is a whole different thing. Don't expect everyone to be like the kids are in the Bronx. See people who are not racist don't use racist comments to call people names. If I'm pissed at you I'm not gonna call you a f****** spic. Imma call you a retard, a loner, a pothead but I will not use racial slurs because I was educated and have been tough respect. That's how it works in the world. If you moved out of the Bronx and came to Canada for example, you'd see a whole new world and a different way of thinking. From city to city people are different and in most cases, racials slurs are not used because they label you a racist person. Simple as that |

See not everyone in the bronx is uneducated even educated people used racial slurs before believe me ON subways in most public places you can get someone angry enough to use racial slurs it's different in America then Canada man You live where you would save a f****** dolphin if it did nice lil flips near your country but Im saying The Person who says Racial Slurs because they are angry insn't exactly Racist I can get a f****** scientist to utter out racial slurs without me saying one If I wanted too... I traveled a whole lot been to spain been to D.R been to the south been to many different towns People from the south on here would know how things go on but U live in Canada when was the last time you ever seen REAL racisim....... Really this doesn't have to go any farther A racist to me is someone who truely hates another person's race. Like Lestat he said the words It was wrong no doubt about that but that doesn't mean he's a racist and the fact that he was angry goes with my point. That being said Online gaming shouldn't tolerate it but because you think the whole world doesn't tolerate racisim you are dead wrong because it's being tolerated in awhole lot of places like the workplace, coporate jobs in America, educated people tolerating racisim because it can cost them their job is where Im getting at so yea Like I said it depends on the situation where you make the decision to tolerate it or not.........

See to you people normally use racial slurs but to me not. It might seem funny to you but if someone came up to me saying your a f****** arab terrorist, I'd defenetly go beat the f*** up. Like anyone else I know. Same for my black friends. Racists suually end up with black eyes and broken bones untill they learn some respect their parents did not teach them. Between friends to me is cool unless someone tells me to stop. But between individuals it's not tolerated and should't be tolerated because it's racism. I don't give a f*** if you think people calling each other by racial slurs is normal. Your opinion in that matter is funny to me. If you would take it that someone come up to you and call you a stupid crackhead spic, thats your problem and not mine. I have respect for myself, my origins and my religion and therefore I defend their names. But see theres this thing on online gaming (because people play from all around the world) where racism is not tolerated and by racism I mean racist comments (yeah that's racism too *look in the dictionnary, get a real education, or just ask your mama if you don't believe me*) and it is not being tolerated for reason. And you have two choices. Either you go around cowardly disrespecting people behind you computer screen using racial slurs or you follow that rule. Or you could come up to my city in Canada and call me a f****** Arab in my face. I'd teach you respect Ole' get ur hands dirty' style. I personally suggest you follow the rule and respect other player's origins, religions, sexualities... |

in canada, yes there is tons of racisme. thing is, most people either laugh, or just walk off. also in my town here, the group we most make fun of is the natives. god sometimes they deserve it. they sometimes will block off roads that lead onto there reserves, demanding more rights. Thing is thoguh, usualy they block off the roads that no one uses, and are completely wasted the entire time. Of course this is just usualy, sometimes they manage to get the right roads |

Lestat has had to face up to his actions, because what he said was derogatory. That does not excuse further insulting and verbal bashing. In particular warning here: Rippa. Stick to the rules even if others don't. Two wrongs don't make a right, and if you want to argue about it, Thassius and Kinetic might have a nice little jail macro sitting around just for you. Or maybe we do. Why is that ppl cannot swear at staff is it because they spend their so called OWN time to do something for the community well too bad we as players also spend our OWN time working our asses off and training and when u get on ppl start calling you a loser and shit just cause they got owned in the past and got me once or twice to some bug pfft... How mature anyways im not flaming anyone here but RmX if it was ur own buddy calling u that would u have reported him aswell or is it that everyone here has a f****** problem with me? Sure I might be the next Plinkers but he certainly was a good player and the fact is its all a game and if racism is not allowed then why is bullshit allowed? cause both have the same effects I play here for fun and to learn not be be bullshitted by kids saying OMGWTF I PWNT U! This is going to turn into yet another flame thread so I'm going to lock it off now. Lestat - you may have been personally attacked but racism isn't the way to vent it. Others should also learn not to harness their anger through any abuse or harassment of other players especially verbal ganking. I've seen too much of it recently and if people continue it looks like the only way to stop it all is a forum bann. |
