I wouldn't have expected that... I never saw the whole thing, but the parts I did see were awesome! and Saving Private Ryan was a great movie too, make no mistake

IMO the best war movie ever, Full Metal Jacket.

Full Metal Jacket is a great classic, but I personally enjoyed Platoon and Apocalypse Now...

I haven't seen Hamburger Hill, but if we're gonna throw in all sorts of good war movies to own, one must include The Great Escape... that was a fantastic movie! Heartbreak Ridge was a pretty good flick too, though more of a modern war movie than anything...
