wiz you should go try another shard and see how friendly they are.
I have. In terms of death... you are correct. In terms of name calling and generally pissing people off, this shard is king. You've been here longer than me Drizzt, but I think about 3 years of being here and trying other shards I can safely say I've never seen the kind of outright spiteful and kiddie crap I see here.
as for pvp, get owned about 5 million more times and you might catch up with me.
I don't PvP except for in events, but that never stopped me from randomly getting "owned" many times hehe. Stuff happens. I go certain places, I kind of expect to die. Oigen got killed a lot I'd bet... but I'd also bet there's a lot more than just player death on his mind.

Oh yes, and I almost forgot...

REAL QUITTERS DON'T BOTHER WITH "I'm leaving" POSTS!
It's your own call to quit and let the "harrassers" continue on, or you could get good, and kick their ass.
For people who work full time... or haven't been here since the dawn of creation, that is not an option. I choose just to put up with the BS and stay here... I only have so many hours I can play (it used to be even less). But that IS NOT the point. It's one thing to kill someone. It's another to harrass.

I think the problem is Crafter killing and res killing the crafter in town because someone made "new" rules which aren't in the Rule of conduct section on site :o I mean when has it becoem fun to do shit like that It's just a f****** game don't go around messing up a game for soemone stickt pvp to f****** pvpers.

please guys, i asked only to register here, not to start a flame fest.


staff on this shard are great and i love each and every one of them, they helped me loads and i can't but respect the time and effort they've put in their general activity. the staff here are one of the good assets obsidian has to offer.


drizzt, those people are hate mongers, ride killers, crafter killers, kid mentality and moraly handicapped. all except ashes, ashes is there because he's too rich anyway and doesn't need that stuff.

i didn't get "owned" by them and even if I would have it would not have been a reason to quit, that's insane, nobody quits because he gets killed, it's part of the game.


ashes, i wanted to join mob because i wanted to pk with my char and it seemed that mob was a resonable enough guild to join. you said that someone on your forums didn't want me, i said ok and that was it. I didn't beg for acceptance nor did I bug you every day. you're just pissed because you won't get my regs. suck it up big guy and go buy some, you're rich, remember? i have no quarrel with you, i do not consider you my friend nor do I consider you to be an a$$hole. you're a fairly ok guy and a very good pvp'er. if you have any respect for me i'd like to ask you not to turn this into a flame fest or infect the topics just because you got upset.



so, in conclusion, the list is made based on personal observations of their general behaviour on the shard and not based on anger or anything like that. as you may have seen I have collected enough stuff to keep me going so losing a set of armor or losing a weapon would not be a reason to quit the shard. those that think that are insulting me.

For starters I'm not pissed, nor do I have a "quarrel" with you over regs.. I merely asked to buy them from you, then hassled you for fun afterwards. I had forgotten all about that when it came time to post here.

I just don't respect people who post here saying "rah rah this sucks, f*** that, I hate assholes.." It's not just the "assholes" who ruin this shard, it's the whiney little snobs too who cry over every little thing (example; OMG THEY KILLED MY CRAFTER, THATS MORALLY UNJUST.. yeah well, like you said, this isn't real life, it's a game.. who f***** cares who kills what.)

Regardless, I'm done with this thread. I've made my point, and frankly Oigen, I'm quite hurt that you don't consider me an asshole. I asked outz what I've been doing wrong to not make it on your asshole list, he said I need to try harder :cry:

No, I understand it, it's the "atmosphere" the amount of people who will willingly jump down each others throats just to better themselves. Basically, it's a cut throat shard and you don't like it.

Believe me Oigen, I get it more than I lead on..

"As always".. pssh don't even try to talk like you "know" me, you ain't even been around for months you come out of the closet with some big quittin shit and callin people assholes.. seems abit stupid to me.

Regardless, cool event, I'll be sure to make a guest appearance on Ashes to kill some people with newly aquired wealth.
