Someone go try to type in codes, keep track of what you try, and try other orders! We'll have to make an offical post with a pic #ing them so we can label codes easier..

Once I get back in game (hopefully tomorrow if Blinkers isn't busy) I'll come and help with the quest again!

You can use exploding pots in a guarded area. just put them all over the ground and fs one of them. Or lightning, fireball magic arrow any thing you want will set them off. It could be that you can't enter the codes until you actually get inside tho too.

Yeah i totall forgot about that while i was at the tree with the pots but i rememberd when i went back to vesper and everyone died :lol:

Wizz was there too he got the first couple :wink:

Ill go try that again in a bit as well.. If someone else does post here.. Anything anyone tries post here so we dont repeat...

I noticed there were a pile of raw ribs on the floor of the entrance to sukdoku for the last couple days.. I guess they dont dissapear.. Im gonna get some now and do the path mabey it will stay.. Least till it changes again..

*edit* well they dissapeared pretty much instantly.. I wonder why the pile at the beginning of it stayed so long.. Its the same type of floor..Bah..



I think those symbols under yew may already have a code written on them for us to enter into the real RC and mabey it points us to the key or to somewhere else.. Explosion pots didnt seem to do anything but im gonna place alot of em here in a sec.. *edit* didnt work..

er guys.... ALL twelve of the symbols are there.....so unless they are highlighted we won't know what combo to try.... it could be anything...

could someone post to order the symbols are listed in? it might be something special.

Maybe the whole thing about sun and stars etc is more about which symbols to press, rather than waiting till dawn to try and enter the cave!

Okay, this is just an idea on this, but I'm wondering if the clue sign means something like sunrise, which would be in the east... maybe the 5 easternmost symbols in Yew are the 5 symbols to use in the RC... now just to figure out what the combo is.... :?

ok well starting from the north row going south (as far as I can tell)

Eternity-Tower-Infinity
Peace-Flask
Serpent- Cross
Control-Fork
Sword-Zodiac-Wisp

They are spaced in a funny way as well.

So going off of Von_Ogres theory the eastern most points give the RC code of

Infinity-Flask-Cross-Fork-Wisp
5-7-8-10-12

or

Infinity-Flask-Fork-Wisp-Tower
1-5-7-8-10

or

Infinity-Flask-Fork-Wisp-Zodiac
2-5-7-8-10

[edit 2] if you take the 5 northern most you get the rune code for covatous level 1 outside.

Good work anyway hopefully we are on the right track..

We cant look at the symbols in yew as they are underground.. But i will go halluc and ghost and see if anything there changes..

Try putting your codes into the one at yew. You can still click the symbol underground.. Then run behind the yew tree or something..

And searching covetous.. but that was mabey a coincidence so dont expect to find anything..

*mabey im insane but ive seen a pile of 8 ribs sitting in several odd places, one was in the sudoku chamber and one was in a dungeon in a very odd place.. Feels like some sorta clue but i cant figure wtf it would mean for the life of me. Mabey im just crazy...* But its in wierd places and always a stack of 8.. Ive seen it 3 times i think..

Those are escort NPCs. You get them to tell you their destination by
saying "guide", then "come here" will make it follow you and once in the
target town just say "here" to collect 750gp. The problem is getting them
to leave through bucs gate. Dunno about now, but earlier it was possible.

Those ribs are from cut up player corpses, they don't decay if not touched.
Crazy bugs.

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it. But directly east of the tree is a mountain, (same one that brit pass goes thru) so like the sun rises in the east and the mountain would be the horizon but the only thing is it says "When" the sun doth ride not where.

we have to remeber that this quest is made by a human who im sure was the only one who checked it for errors and when you check your own work for errors you tend to miss a few :roll: :P
