Shrinks from what i heard are much harder to find now because reapers no longer spawn in a large group like they used too. They are apperently spread out all over the place and tough to find. I think it is sad that taming is now become a useless skill unless you plan on pvping or pvming. It used to be a really great money making skill. |

I agree with Bob in adding the animal lore in order to control animals. This said, I think that horses and oytras should be exempt from this rule. And @nosympathy: Yes bears were spammed like mad in the old system...dunno what old system you were looking at but in Obsi's old system bears were a regular pvp tool. At least now, those that can use them as a pvp tool have to pay a price in skill cap to do so. So to sum up, some tweaking is needed, not full removal. |

They honestly were not. The only time people spammed them was in the beginning of the t4a system when people starting complaining about Scud and his snakes. Then people started spamming their bears and whatever else they used. If you look back to t3a and the people that PvP'd during that time you will see there was less animals used during fights than now. Those that did 'spam' bears are the ones that thought that was the only way they could win. I will agree with you aleksander that rides (i.e. horses, llamas, mustangs, and oytras) be exempt from this little issue because in all honesty who is dumb enough to use those during a fight? Hopefully this is the solution that Bob sees and uses with animals because I really don't feel like worrying about training animal lore/taming/or magery on my characters just to use a horse.... |

The only person that I know who shrinks their horses is Duck, but thats because he has a lot of deadwood. Using a shrink pot on a horse now is probably the worst move you can do with Reapers spawning a lot father out of town and in smaller quantities. However, there is an area that spawns a small group of about 3-4 Reapers in one area, only problem, I can't seem to remember where that area is anymore. |

Nope, they should not spawn in groups anywhere, and if they do im pretty sure we suppose to report it to bob. But w/e, shrinks really arent that hard lol, i can probably get 3-4 in 15 mins. |

they dont spawn in groups in fact its pretty random...basically you find reapers deep in the woods not close to the paths of the roads scattered everywhere! Anyway if you are a tamer selling horses you wouldnt need shrinks because you can command them. |
