um , i was saying like, i had a 2 ati cards that were connectable, and you have to connect a bridge between cards for them to be any more effiecient, and the bridges only connect in one spot, making it impossible to connect 4 cards, but my cards mighta been ones that only can have 2, maybe theres one that can do 4,, but i didnt have them lol

u dont upgrade cus ur lazy !!! :x

LOL being lazy has nothing to do with it man... it's been a combination of choosing a bad place to build a cheap one, really bad luck, electrical faults, and lack of funds. I'm not even thinking about running two video cards, I just want something to run haha.

Yeah, newer Nvidia cards you can run dual and there's also the ATI crossfire thing. But I hadn't heard of being able to run more than 2 at a time myself Azi. You have a link to someone setup like that? I was using ATI Radeon cards for a while myself on older machines but the machine I'm messing with now is running Linux and the Linux drivers for ATI cards kinda suck so far.

I have not found any benchmarks of people actually using 4 cards. My guess is anything over 2 cards gives a smaller % in performance gain then the one before it because the pipelines are halved after each additional card is added. this is just my best guess though. I'm going to have to do more research.

I am set on the HD 4870 ATI cards though....the reason is just price.

Here is a link to a list of the current graphic cards, and how they stack up to each other.

from the reviews ive read dual cards is a huge boost some tests have come close to doubling the fr but really more like 1.5 times from what ive read. not that i will likely be trying it anytime soon.

my lone 9800 gtx+ w/phenom and 6 gb ram hasnt found a game yet that makes it sweat. vista might indeed suck but dx 10 and physx really looks good. totally pisses on my 360 in high def.

imo the best card for the price atm is nvidia gtx 260. it is cheaper and better than the ati card you mentioned azi.

There's some video of a trampling in teh ghetto online where all the fat women woulda killed each other if it wasn't for a couple "evil" gangbanger youths in puffy coats who stood ground and shoved them all into a fatass pile on top of each other. Hilarious vid..

I bet you don't really care as much about your shoes as you do stopping someone from being killed, a lot of people don't care if they kill someone or die, they literally have to get that stupid shiny object dangling in front of their childish faces.. A lot of these people sit in church on sunday and JUDGE YOU lmmfao.

^wtf???^
anyway.....

I'll look into the Gforce cards driz, but at the moment the 260 is about 40 bucks more expensive then the 1 gig 4870. Prices change by the hours on pricewatch.com, so thing could easily be different tomorrow.

It's from your words so anyway... I didn't read your graph or what you said closely.. I just pwned on your comp since I do realize you know more about them and will end up with a good one, unless something was off in the world, because you are more tech helpful on this forums than almost anyone.. :D It makes sense it's just weird...

You and your spreadsheets.. Accounting FTW!
Not sure if they have changed some things since I went to school but 2 was always 1/2 of 4 not 1/4 :?

Newegg it is.
Your like the 10th person who suggested it, and most of the pricewatch winners are from them. Have you had any experience with the customer service?

I bought from them once before... ordered a 30$ motherboard, but it was not the right socket type (whups). Delivery was prompt, return was prompt. None of my friends have had issues with Newegg either.

lol comp you moron...

I'm on the "gangbangers" side in what I said even though really all I said was "some guys who the people they saved would have called gangbangers"...

Chips is a good m8 actually and it was a lot of white people in the store where they killed someone this Christmas, the one I am talking about isn't a claim about race, it's a claim about youth vs culture..

Oh and belg..
I also never presented any math which was incorrect.. He said he was gonna start with 1 gig, so I said 1 gig = 1/4 (4gig), he said your wrong, so I said no a quarter=1/4.... 2 being 1/2 of 4 isn't a correction of anything.
