Yea fishing takes forever. I started fishing on my alchy and i could only buy 28 skill. After fishing about 3 hours a day for like 3 weeks i am now 42 :? I should be GM probly by the time my 5 year old is in college.
picked fishing / alch on my "new" char aswell. realized after some time that char is a pain in the ass to train up :? im gonna go with gm cooking first, so far 35% cooking skill :(

I've decided to go with fishing first because then i will have a lot of fish steaks saved up by the time i GM it, Probably too many. If I had to do it all over again tho i think i would go with 50 fishing / 50 Cooking and just buy the alchy skill because honestly alchy is easy. I should know i've done it twice now. :lol:

nah cooking isnt that bad, u just need to get to 60 fishing so you can get small fish. They're excellent for training cooking.
