Crafting events might be a good idea, but I think they may still be tailored more towards the vets who have experienced chars there too, because they'd probably be able to mine more ore or create better items in the same amount of time as a younger char... Then again, if there were something like that, it could probably be weighted differently where the apprentice miners gather iron, and as you go up in steps in skill levels, the type of ore that needs to be collected by a player increases proportionally in difficulty to give everyone a chance... this could either be for mining or smithing... just a thought

Vets usauly leave cause they have nothing else to do. they gmed everything and are rich. or some leave cause somthing happens to there character. barely any leave cause of annoying people

bob what u can know about obsi? u r here less than year, u havent played here when there was more than 100 players online, gains are slow and thats the best way it could be, on other shards u can gain 10% in any skill in about 5-10 minutes, ppl are just pussies today, cant live without cheats in other games coz ''its too hard'' wtf?!? even my father who is 54 years old is always playing on hard/veteran diff in fps games(cod, moh, doom3 and many others) and he has no problems on finishing the game on that difficulty level, younger players just think everything should be easy to get/win...its not the way it is on obsi so they just quit. and btw long time ago i gave an idea to make a crafter event(who can mine more ore in 5 minutes, any type) gms said it would be cool, but then every1 just forgot about it and thats how it goes on obsi
