It can be down to a multitude of things, real life problems spill over into the game, a few to many drinks make people change "GUILTY" . People just get bored and argue for some amusement. There are some people that just clash and don't like one another. I wouldn't take any bitching personally if I were you . |

Thats not the truth, I've actually logged in quite a few times this month - not that I owe half of you anything, though. As for the c*** word, 'f***' is generally considered colloquial whereas the c word is found extremely offensive by some people, especially women. It certainly isn't acceptable language this side of the pond I assure you. In all, I'd say the above kind of attitude is why the shard has had problems of late. People have no respect for the staff (or indeed each other), and the forums and game degenerate into a schoolyard environment. Rest assured that from now on I will be beginning a crackdown and punishing repeat offenders if needs be. From now on I suggest that those of you seeking to cause trouble think extremely carefully before you post something inflammatory; particularly if the target is a staffmember. Now I hope we can all get along and play nice  And for the record, for flaming and arguing with a moderator warning I am now forum banning LegendProdigy, permanently. I only let him back a week ago. |

Why does Obsidian have to be such a f****** concentration camp? Seriously, I doubt we have any kids under the age of 13 who play this game.. and if so they most likely don't use the forums so it's not like we're trying to keep it *PG-13* Let people say what they want to say, you're no better then Hitler, Thassius. Really everyone, calling people rude names and acting like general retards is no way to get anywhere. I don't mind if any of you have a little argument but if you have to start calling people names and making it personal then yeah I'm going to step in and do something about it. Dedo you made a good point there about insulting vs arguing and I agree with you on it. As for people like Panda - do not be suprised if you are forum banned, IP banned and banned ingame. People who have to show such strong hatred to others on such a personal level is something we as a community will not tolerate. Just to restate the main point: I do not mind if you all argue abit, we all want to do it from time to time, but don't bring personal remarks into it. Keep the argument based on theories and the issue at hand, not other personal issues like race and age. |
