Nice Axe there Thas. My guitarist also uses a similar model. Nice neck action, smooth flow. I have to agree with Barney on the SG, it has the best neck action on the market, but tonally the Ibanez pw3s all other guitars. |

I'll agree to a certain extent.. SG's do indeed, have amazing playability, but hardly worth paying the extra 500-1000 just for the "Gibson" name printed on it. Yeh, Ibanez OWN for tone, as I have one myself. But personally, I'd prefer a Jackson or an ESP, they f*****' pwn. |

Actually, the difference from an Epiphone to a Gibson is massive, i have had both, and then progressed to the Angus Young signature SG which cost £1900 and IMO plays loads nicer than the standard gibson. Depends how fussy you are TBH i think, but i'm happy with it. |

Agreed, Epiphones sux in comparison - in terms of build quality, intonation, tone, playability, pickups, finish, tuning stability... Its like comparing a squier strat with a *proper* Stratocaster... there's more to a guitar than what you see with your eyes. PS. That Angus Young signature SG sounds...hot... *goes to change underwear* |

i agree ephiphone and squier suck balls, beginner/poor man guitars that look cool. not that i can talk i just like jackson for some reason they are easier to play for me than any other. and i only care about wicked heavy chords. also dave mustaine owns you. i had a red charvel that i used for band practice that played like a dream but only sounded par. i used to have a white jackson stealth with the skull body. motherfucker was awesome. all i got now is a lil $350 midnight blue jackson but i tore into the insides and made it how i want it and it plays very well considering the price. i have a silvertone paul stanley sig its cool looking kinda looks like a flying V but plays and sounds like shit. and i got a black fender acoustic that is cheap but all i need, im old and poor and dont play enough anymore to need good shit i guess. i hate you little young bastards all of you i want my band, my guitars, and my half stack back now |

I think I'm one of the only Obsidian players still playing an old Fender heh-heh. Even GWAR the band plays Gibsons so I can't diss em. As far as Ibanez goes... I always wanted one of those 7-string deals they had but didn't want to pay the retail $$$. I can only imagine the funky tunings you could throw one of those things in. |
