I'd say episode 3 was a good movie, not great but good. It could have been better with a better script and some decent acting, most of the characters completely lacked chemistry with each other as well. The story was good and there was lots of action though. The one good performance was by Ian Mcdurmid (or however you spell it) as Emperor/Chancellor Palpitine. He pretty much made the movie for me. Watching him slowly corrupt Anakin was a thing of beauty. Hayden Christenson (however you spell it) again showed that he can't act. Natalie Portman gave a pretty weak perfomance as well (due to a bad script I think cause she is usually a pretty good actress). Ewan McGreggor was ok as Obi-Wan. With all that being said I did enjoy the movie though, watching all the jedi get slaughtered was very entertaining in a morbid sort of way. It was certainly a lot darker then any previous star wars movie and was much, much better then the two previous pieces of crap (ep1 and ep2).

I've heard the next direction for the star wars series is that they will be digitally remastered in 3D - Mr Lucas is a big fan of this and apparently the technology is getting pretty hot
