actually i was referring to no magical weapons all together.... only craftible good weapons of vanq like dmg without any magical properties..

as far as what you could hunt for.. i dunno.. use your imagination.. what do u want to hunt for?
i gave a few examples of rares that could take the place of weapons.. its as easy as bob changing what drops.. as i said the possibilities are endless.... but weapons are not the answer

if u have a rarity value on something regarding pvp... that is not only rare but not accesible at any time.. u break the system... any regs can be bough.. any armor can be bought.. and so should any wep be bought at any time if u have the money or will to make ur own smith and work to make it..

it is an issue to have a stable ground to balance pvp..

personally i never liked the idea of weapon drops.. because pvp was always based off of there strength..

maybe the answer is a mix of my 2 suggestions...
do away with non-magical wep drops.. only having magical weps remain and have smiths craft the non magical equivlent... maybe this would be a medium that everyone could love

i think that ore made weapons depending on the ore should deal more damage. bows work that way why cant melee work that way too? even before the new wood weapons fletchers could make exceptional bows that did more damage and 90% of people used those for pvp and hunting and only bothered with magic bows when they were poison strike or pain or soemthing. honestly it makes sense.

but im not saying do away with weapon drops i like finding them when i hunt.

the problem for me is...i went and hunted for about 2 months ..HARD...and i got my goal of 255 weps to fill one bag. now i hunted for fun and for the thrill that i could get some super weps(also becuase i think drop rate is a little off and am going to release all the boss kills ive done with how many drops ive got), so that ..yes i could have a advantage in battle. i did the work to get the weps.. some ppl that bought some of mine they had to pay high dollar for them. but there is not alot of ppl out hardcore hunting.

now..what possibly could you replace something that yes..if you do hard work to get..that you could get a SMALL advantage in battle and be able to sell to others..becuase if monsters only dropped the magical ability weps...then they would be much rarer.

also everyone would just have to have a miner to have best weps available....economy shrinks...ppl do less hunting.

And you realize if you do away with weapons then you have to constantly come up with new 'rares.'

Doubt anyone would continue hunting if the same 5-6 possible drops are always the case.

I liked the variety & it should stay the way it is.

Like Sparger mentioned: +7 is +9 now & +9 is ++

well im not saying make them like +11 by any means you know..? just they should do slightly better damage rose and black rock weapons should probably do like force damage. or maybe power i dunno valorite should do like force or might and verite do might or ruin... and agapite weapons should do like i dunno ruin? shadow maybe do something cool with those they do extra damage to shadow stuff..?

I think it is fun to have weapons drop off monsters but an idea could be if you make craftable weapons good enough for pvp have monsters drop magical orbs. Have the orbs be of magic elements as we have now. IE you kill a golem and get an orb of total leech that you apply to a crafted wep.

Just a thought but again i like the system in place, We would have less hunting and killing shit is way more fun than mining.

As long as weapons stay and the orbs are implemented along with them, then I like DW idea too.
