it's a GTA4 clone, the buttons and gameplay are exactly the same

i wouldn't recommend buying this game for the price tbh the graphics are not that good at all and they could of used different controls and gameplay

i was expecting them to use some new idea's...and not just a straight up Clone with the exact same gameplay and control scheme

typical for game companies now days....spend 500k making the game, and 4 mil marketing it

I wouldnt know if RDR is a GTA clone, guess its pretty much alike as its the same company behind it. But i've never tried GTA4 so i wouldnt know as said But never the less i think RDR is pretty good, lots of fun. There's some bugs in it still though. They could had fixed the game some more before releaseing it. And the autoaim part that comes as a standard sucks bigtime. I turned it off playing singelplayer for some more challenge, tried it online aswell playing freeroam. But then I just turned out dead, facing other players. As they they (most likely) have autoaim and you yourself have to spendtime aiming. So thats a big turndown.

Also another thing that sucks is that your "online character" that you collect XP with is saved on your xbox harddrive. A friend of mine (who alos playes RDR) is here on vaccation sort of.. we though we could play online togheter here.. (using both mine and my gfs xbox) But after recovering his live profile and starting the game he got a "level 1 char". Unlike for example Halo3 or something were you can play from whatever xbox aslong as you recover your profile. So that pretty much sucked

I would have to disagree, I think this is a very well made game and has an awesome game play

I'll stick with GTA: Vice City until a PC version is released... and reduced

Working my way up in levels now when i saw that youll get a bull and later on a bison ox as a mount, on higher levels online. Thats great motivation for gaming!

Gotta add that the singleplayer campaign is pretty awesome. Great ending Also, got 100% completion yesterday.
