idk to me meditating in the middle of a fight seems kinda contradictory....i know its annoying when you have to run away to heal or regain mana but c'est la vie maybe make it so after a certain skill level you can meditate while in war mode? maybe that can be the perk for being GM med?

That would make mages completey useless sorry to say. Basically if you run out of mana pots you are done. The end.

if you have a few ppl shooting bows at the right times and or have a mage or 2 spamming ma its a bitch and a half... plus this system would be awesome just in general to get med working the right way

meditating during battle is more realistic then having a flaming arrow shoot out ur hand,
i thought high level martial arts required a meditative state of mind, or was supposed to,, like kung fu and shit, making them like be like in a state of meditation the whole fight or some shizz...

anyway my point is, its a game, it should be balanced not realistic

idc if we have flying purple turkeys as long as its balanced

I stopped reading this thread a while ago, so what I'm about to say might have already been said. I just did a search and found it...anyway..

Fail rate for med is absurd. I have GM med and up until yesterday I had GM Eval Int. When I had both I would fail med about 1 in 10 tries, which was good, no complaints. I dropped Eval to 0 (in th process of completely changing my build) and my med went from 1 fail in 10 tries to 1 success in 10 tries. I've failed to med literally 25 times in a row, with a brand new player-made hat. I automatically tab out when I med, so I thought this was the issue...I changed my macro, and I still have the same fail rate. Med is without a doubt useless without Eval Int.

I would very much like to see the new med system replicate the old med system, without the need to click on a hat...or maybe allow med gain at a faster rate when used, and if you have Eval you can gain mana back in chunks as it is now....something needs to be done, because a fail rate between 70% and 90% is just way to high for an investment of 100 skill points.

that relationship is still dumb.
they've been reversed.
meditation affects fail rate, eval int adds an increase to the mana you get back.
meditatoin now also is affected by necromancy skill, just the same way it is by magery skill. no free rides for necromancers
