For those who don't bother reading changelog (i'm looking at about 7 specific people here), or for those who don't bother using common sense and reading messages they get in-game(I'm looking at 3 specific people who've paged about this here), this is a public service announcement:

EAT SOME FOOD. You can't really focus on tying up your bleeding and broken leg so it will mend itself, if you are STARVING TO DEATH ANYWAY.

Before I start...I have ate...

Is the food thing the only thing changed recently to do with healing or did that not change? Because I upped my dex and ate & Put my shield down So i just have 1 wep, 150 dex (testing) Think i will need another 10 i think for -1 second but the least I get is a 7 0r 8 second time between heals. I Am GM healing 65.4 Anat I have zero magery...Shouldnt it be a little better?

Echo came to me & Tested it with me I was having a 9 second wait between heals..I ate & dropped my sheild I was still at 8 when everone else in my Skill area only has about a 4-5 second wait with a wepon (Warrior)

How is this? I just want the same & Im not. If Bob cant help can someone please? =S

Healing follows the same formula it used to with 2 exceptions.

Healing delay starts at 11 seconds.
It still adds 1 second for every 20 magery skill
it still subtracts 1 second for every 20 dexterity
it still adds 1 second for left hand and 2 seconds for right hand equips.(might be backwards, would have to check) (New - 3 seconds for two-handed weapons).
Cross healing no longer has the lower delay.
Any delay below 2 seconds is set to 2 seconds

Hunger level now adds delays, instead of increasing your chance to fail. (used to be at full hungry you'd fail half the time).

That's the only things that really changed since t3a.
That being said i'm going to go cleanup the code right now so that partial dex adds partial decrease, same with partial magery, since 150 shoudl be faster than 140, and it's silly that it's not. :) Likewise 19.9 magery should not be 0 delay when 20 is 1 delay

bob is that real time? or updated.... for your dex?

like if you use pots or spells, would this increase your dex and decrease your heal time in the formula?

Under the old system you could buff your healing time using pots AND agility......

I know that healing fish and healing pots both use the same timer...no eating a healing fish then downing a G-heal pot...so...I'd guess that pots and a spell would both do the same as well...

I'll test this tonight.

i still wish we could get the dex raised on pollied deamons so they could actually heal again too. The delay counting magery and low dex is way too long.

just tried that lol.. alcohol only makes u drunk doesnt decrease dex anymore
