This client is heavily upgraded from the one you have all been accustomed to over the past few years and has already been put into beta testing with a small handful of staff and players!
What are some of the features you can expect?
- New patcher that is both more compatible and faster running
- Less overall system resources required to run Obsidian
- Stable and crash resistant
- Brand new loading and login screens
- In-game manual
- New colors*
- New items/weapons/clothing*
- New monsters*
- New lands*
- Updated graphics and sound
- Full MP3 music support
- Much much more!

What are the download details? Is this going to be something after beta-month? Will my friends still respect me even if I still keep dating the same person? Screw my friends what about my Mom? Will she be into this new "4.0" thing???

ok this is released in a hour do i uninstall obs and dl the new client? by the way this looks good i haven't played in a awhile and need some obs.

I take it we aren't done yet? All my race chars are the same no penalty still green. heard a rumor that someone tried moving house items and lost everything....
Tried to demolish a house but it tells me i can't until the server goes live... does that mean i have to wait a month?

yeah that thread isn't really helpful to any of my questions....but thanks for the effort...
the main page says "The rollback, and associated conversions, have been completed"
I assumed associated conversions had to do with the new character system as well as housing. on a side note I thought it was interesting how there was no staff around when the new 4.0 rolled over :/
