Alright, well i've spent most of the afternoon finishing the interface for the new crafting system, and I thought i'd post pictures of it as it stands now. It still needs a few finishing touches but all the visible functionality works in terms of things being pretty.

As you can see, it will not only tell you skill levels/resources, but whether you have them.
It also has options for crafting multiple amounts, and for resource replacement, which i will go into more later.

Post your thoughts, and yes i know the shard is still down. I can't fix it, only broadband can, and he unfortunately had prior business this weekend, so i'm hoping i might get ahold of him tonight when he returns.

So what you are saying is that with those options in the Amount section we can chose
how many bows to make out of the amount of logs we have.

So I can choose to make 1 5 10 15 or even 50 bows all at once? Please explain further if I am
not correct of thinking of something totally different.

However, thanks for both the updates Bob

I think "bow" in the item column should be capitalized in the menu. I know when one clicks a bow it says "bow", but I believe that if all of the words in the "Category" column are capitalized and some of the words in the "Item" category are capitalized, then the same format should be used in the "Item" column. Since none of the words in the "Resources" category are capitalized, I do not think it is necessary for the words in that column to be capitalized. Additionally, the word "crossbow" is one word; it is not "cross bow".

No offense intended, only correct grammar and improved aesthetics.

This is nowhere near the final lists. I just threw some test data in to get the dialogs working, so no those aren't going to guaranteed be the categories you have available to select from.

The categories i can name, the names in the item list are pulled from the item itself.
So yeah, at some point i'll probably go through and make all the names match capitalization, much like i did for the scrolls.
Just right now that's not in the scope of the crafting patch itself.

For example, lets take a look what you get if you goto heavy cross bows.
Hey lookie, a page full of crossbows. lets turn the page
yep! more crossbows.

22 total. Just put in to verify the page turning was workign right. :)

Looks good bob :D Can I ask, will the fonts for that menu appear as per our own usual text setting or will that be how it has to appear? (I never did like those setting :( )

So if I were to select, let's say, 50 dye tubs while training carpentry, would I still get the gains I would possibly get if I were to make them 1 at a time?

Thanks Rob!

Menu system looks great, but, I'd prefer the old out-dated one purely because it's what i've grown up with on the game and I've come to love it.

Speeking about bows, can i ask what is to become of elven bows? are they craftable now? do different types of wood produce different types of bows with individual advantages/disadvantages?

hmm, well.. can it be a command to get that menu verus the old menu?
like .singlecraft
to put u in old mode where its the old Gump.. craft the old style way 1 by 1 highly annoying..
or .multicraft to put you in the new mode where the new gump pops up...
and like if you press multicraft you always use the new menu until u type .single craft
and vice versa

looks good! my only issue is the size of the thing...lookes like it would take up my whole window.....not good for macrostones(if they are still around) maybe use the little pluses and minuses for sub categories instead of a whole new window?
